I really like the SuperTree Grove and the Flower Dome. Walking through the Cloud Forest felt like going to a different place, with its cool mist and lots of green plants.

I was amazed by how the design of the complex creates spaces for everyone to gather and still gives residents their own space.

The Interlace exemplifies a fresh and inventive way of embracing city life. I couldn’t go inside, but looking at it from the outside was really cool. It demonstrates how new structures can foster a sense of community and collaboration among residents and workers.

6. Raffles Hotel

(A Glimpse into History)

Raffles Hotel is an old-fashioned building that shows what Singapore was like in the past. As one of the unique buildings in Singapore, it provides a glimpse into the city’s rich history. I had a great time having traditional afternoon tea in a fancy place; it felt like I was in the past. Its traditional vibe and stunning gardens make the hotel an ideal and peaceful place to visit for those who are staying in the downtown area.

Advantages:

• Historical importance: A symbol of Singapore’s past when it was ruled by other countries.

Raffles Hotel provides a unique and memorable stay, not just a place to rest. It felt as if I was immersing myself in Singapore’s rich and captivating history while also indulging in the luxuries of modern living. It’s worth a visit, even if it’s just to have a drink at the renowned Long Bar.

7. OCBC Centre

(The Skyscraper)

The OCBC Centre is a very tall, modern building with a special and interesting look. As one of the unique buildings in Singapore, it stands out for its modern and stylish appearance. I really enjoyed the view from the upper levels, which offered stunning perspectives of the city. The building is easily recognizable in Singapore for its distinctive exterior and impressive height.

• Highlights:
  • You can see the whole city from the top floors.
  • Smooth and smart building style.

Positive Sides:

• One of the tallest in Singapore.
• Unbeatable views of the city.

Negative Sides:

• Some floors are not open for people to go to.

The OCBC Centre is celebrated for its fashionable and sleek appearance. I liked how the building looked and was created. This is an excellent location to observe and appreciate the expansive and attractive sights of Singapore, a popular destination for many visitors.

8. Park Royal on Pickering

(The Hotel in a Garden)

The Park Royal on Pickering is a hotel that looks like it’s in the middle of gardens. As one of the unique buildings in Singapore, it amazed me with all the green plants around the building that boost its beauty, making it a peaceful place in the city. The design of the hotel makes it unique in the city, working well with the environment and being kind to nature.

  • Enjoy gardens in the sky at different levels of the hotel.

Pros:

• Pretty plants and trees make a peaceful place.

Cons:

• Costly accommodation: Comfort and luxury are expensive.

Parkroyal on Pickering is a great place to take a rest from the city. I really enjoyed how the hotel mixed nature and modern style. It’s not like other hotels in Singapore. It’s the perfect place for people to decompress and enjoy the beauty of nature.

9. The Hive @ NTU: Another Unique Building in Singapore

(The Beehive of Learning)

The Hive at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a special building made for working and learning together. As one of the unique buildings in Singapore, its shape looks like a beehive and is both useful and attractive. I was impressed by how the design encouraged teamwork and sparked creativity in students.

  • The shape of the building helps air flow through and lets in lots of natural light.
  • Spaces are made for people to work together and help each other.

Pros:

• Inspiring environment: Perfect for students and educators.

The Hive building demonstrates how effective design enhances the learning experience. I couldn’t see inside very well, but just looking at the building was amazing. It is a location abundant with fresh ideas and educational opportunities.

10. Changi Airport Jewel: The Ultimate Unique Building in Singapore

Jewel at Changi Airport is a big area where you can shop and have fun. As one of the unique buildings in Singapore, it features a really cool indoor waterfall. I really enjoyed walking around the beautiful gardens and checking out all the different stores. The Rain Vortex is the tallest indoor waterfall in the world, and it’s truly amazing to see.

  • Inside, there is a waterfall called the Rain Vortex, which is the main attraction.
  • Many different choices for food and shopping.

Pros:

• Beautiful design: The glass dome and waterfall are breathtaking.
• Lots to do: Endless entertainment options.

Cons:

You should visit Jewel when you’re in Singapore, whether you’re arriving or leaving. I spent a lot of time here because I loved the pretty design and there were many things to do. It has everything you need in one place, like nature, shopping, and fun.
